From a spiderhole in California... well ok the Marriott lobby in Ontario, it's the first annual (and I hope not the last) political round table! It was a lot of fun, and thank you to all the awesome people who participated:-Aaron from The Big Show -Shelly from Shelly's Podcast -Charles from Mostly News -Barely from Barely Podcasting It definitely made me want to put together talks such as these more often in the future. I'm glad there are many ways now to make this so. :-) What do we talk about? -Health care -Racial Tensions in Americas -Iraq (which somehow led to urban sprawl) -Government Accountability -Do we even have a voice anymore? -Podcasting politics There is a lot of background noise, but you can hear what everyone is saying pretty clearly. - Hi Dani. You don't know me yet but thanks to Barely you have another new listener. Typically when I pick up a new podcast I go back and listen to every episode before I chime in with anything, or even contact the podcaster, but as a libertarian who usually votes republican it would be impossible to hold my tongue that long.
I was going to comment on some of what I heard from the political round table you posted but there is just too much there for me to remember and hammer into a comment box. I may go back and listen again with a note pad and I will before I make comment to ensure I attribute quotes to the correct person.
I'll be back with more later. That's a promise!!
