  • Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

On a plaque on an island where legal immigrants were welcomed to our country. The key word is legal. I have an issue with blatantly allowing thousands of undocumented people teem our shores. That is a kick in the face of those millions of people who have come here previously and followed the rules. If there were suddenly thousands of people sneaking in from some predominately white country, I'd feel the same way. Especially if people who obey the laws have to pay for their care.
