This past weekend was PodcampAZ. It's not published as a podcast, but if you would like to listen to my friend Evo Terra's session on Podcasting for Authors, you can directly download it right here! I should also have audio to the Podcasting Panel I was a part of up on the page soon.
THEN, back to the seeking! Most likely after the holidays, unless I can convince my houseguests to record a show with me!

I will stick in the links later, but wanted to get this uploaded and available! Show Length: 15min. 27sec.
*Smoke 'em if you got 'em- Medical Marijuana passes in AZ *Campaign spending at all time high (get it? HIGH.) *You know what's more dangerous than crack, heroin AND marijuana? Alcohol. Roll that and smoke it. *The media loves GW Bush and his new book. Michael Moore thinks they are smoking something. *The CIA doesn't think destroying evidence showing torture is important. I have no smoking reference to add. *The EPA wants Halliburton to show what chemicals they are putting in their drilling process. *San Francisco wanted Happy Meals to be healthier, and the Mayor vetoed it because it didn't make any sense. *Back to smoking. Cigarettes that is. New warning labels will be very interesting to look at. *Social Security benefits age could be raised to the age of death, if this keeps up. Which I think is the point. *Male conservative pundits. They rake in the most cash, AND are the most influential. All the ladies in the house say whaaa? *Don't Ask Don't Tell repeal is not going to hurt any war efforts. War is still the thing that hurts the most people, no need to worry. *Amnesty International wants GW Bush tried for that whole "Waterboarding is legal because my lawyer said so." thing. Yeah, because a President is going to want to start an accountability precedent? I don't think so. *So, Gitmo is staying open. Honestly, if you're not going to end the war, how can you close it? *the US was a safe haven to Nazi officials? *Apparently the media thought the back and forth about whether climate change is real was more important than actually talking about climate science. Gee, this is surprising?

No more Ms. Nice Girl! A lousy mid-term election gets me thinking about how I've been running things over the past several months. I've been too quiet, too complacent. This will change, and I will tell you why. With a little help from my friends Jon and Bill. :-)
*Opening: Jon Stewart Speech at the Rally To Restore Sanity (it runs about 12 minutes if you'd like to skip forward. But I recommend you listen- or listen again!) *Half-assed apology *Tunnel vision could kill us all!! *If you really need to blame someone, go ahead and blame me. *Arizona makes a good example of the ignorance seen across the country. *Do you want your country back? Or do you want it to simply move backwards? *Taking power to push a personal agenda: Russell Pearce. *Less government really has nothing to do with it. *Let's Rock! *A minority of voters are controlling what happens in this country- and half of them are age 65 and older. No one sees this as a problem? *Overall, people want a progressive, government-loving country. Oh yeah, I went there. *Take us out, Mr. Maher. Links: *AOL News (voting percentages) *Russell Pearce elected AZ state president *Will Pearce focus on immigration or economy? *touristband.com (great music!)
