- It is interesting to look deeper into the background of Michael Enright, the man accused of stabbing the NYC cab driver. It is clear from his background that he is not associated with any anti-mosque or anti-muslim groups. As a proponent of the Ground Zero Mosque he may well have been attempting to pour fuel on the fire and further portray the anti-mosque crowd as a hateful and dangerous group.
I personally believe he drunkenly thought he could get away with a poorly thought out plan to make the other guys look bad. Let's hope they do charge him with a hate crime and lock him away for a long long time.
